     I grew up in a home with just my mother and big brother who was 10 years older than me so in reality I felt  like I was the only child. As a child I was extremely hurt with the fact that I did not have a father. I would encourage my mother to date so I could hurry up and have a dad and a happy family. See I thought a happy family consisted of a mother, father, and their children WRONG. While I was being selfish thinking about myself my mother was doing the total opposite. My mother NEVER brought a man in and out of our home for the pleasure of ones needs. My mothers priorities were elsewhere which consisted of her two children. ( can you imagine no sex for years? I don't know my mother sex life but from the outside person looking inn I don't think she was getting any ;-( ) The point of my story is I have witnessed many different women and men along the way that have children as well as attempting to maintain personal relationships with the opposite sex. Im no judging , just giving my opinion, my mother did the opposite showing me that it is okay to be single and sincerely by your self. ( NO BOOTY CALLS) I feel as if people don't realize how we affect each others lives. How each time a mother o father brings a new man or women in their child's lives that it gives them hope that one day she/he will live in a functional home where there is a mommy and daddy. Until that one day when there " FAMILY" is broke up due to lack of communication, priorities issues, or even the pressure of raising someone else's child. Whose really hurt? back to square one where the child is left wondering " WHEN WILL I HAVE A HAPPY FAMILY AGAIN?" We all know what it feels like to be alone due to our own actions but how does a child feel when this is a consistent feeling and cycle? All Im saying is watch out children get attached just like every other person in the world but, they may not be able to handle it the way you are able to.
